Lake Toba is a large lake and one of the deepest in the world, at 505 meters. The coffee production area is a high plateau, known for its diversity of tree fern species. This area produces 15,000 to 18,000 tons of arabica per year.

The coffee grown near Lake Toba in Sumatra, Indonesia, is renowned for its unique and distinct flavor profile. This region, with its high-altitude volcanic soil and lush tropical climate, provides the ideal conditions for cultivating Arabica coffee beans.

The resulting coffee is characterized by its full-bodied, earthy richness, accompanied by notes of cedar, dark chocolate, and a subtle herbal spiciness.

Lake Toba coffee is often celebrated for its low acidity, making it a favorite among coffee connoisseurs who appreciate a smooth and bold cup of java with a distinctive Indonesian twist.
