About Us
Kimberley Coffee Company is a boutique small batch coffee roasting company based in the beautiful Kimberley area of North West Australia in Broome.
We specialise in Organic, Rainforest Alliance and Fair Trade Coffees sourced from all parts of the coffee world. We only buy the best top quality green beans. Kimberley Coffee Company then roasts these Green Beans to perfection in one of our small batch gas fired fluid air based roasters. Each coffee bean is suspended in hot air and roasted evenly to give a perfect roast. Just as master Chefs will tell you cooking with gas is just better.
When we receive your order we roast your Green Beans, cool them, rest and package your coffee into our elegant, environmentally responsible double seal packaging. Our packaging is fitted with a one way valve which allows the coffee gases to escape, and keeps your coffee fresh. We overnight courier your coffee to your home or work place, Australia wide.
Our coffee tastes spectacular within the first 21 days after roasting, then absolutely fantastic for the next six months, and a hundred times better than ANY shop bought coffee for the next 12 months - just keep it in the freezer if you can resist drinking lots of it!
Once you have tried our freshly roasted coffee, you will be amazed at how good it tastes - and like many of our customers, become hooked.
The Background Story
Well, we've been passionate about drinking great coffee and have become quite "fussy" (ok obsessive!) about finding great tasting coffee that is made well. Many have even suggested to us to run our own cafe but we decided that we just wanted to specialise in coffee and not much else.
We would like to thank our Broome friends who have been 'guineapigs' in our coffee tastings - I think we've hit the coffee jackpot.
